Bobby Gaon, MSW, CMHS
With almost two decades of professional experience, my extensive background highlights working with the immigrant and refugee populations, especially in areas of cultural differences and preserving history and heritage with children and youth of immigrant and refugee families.
I have worked in various community behavioral health organizations in the Seattle area working with youth and their families, as well as adults with severe mental illness from Western State Hospital, and have supervised master’s level and bachelor’s level students from the University of Southern California, University of Washington, Seattle University and Eastern Washington University.
I am also a part-time lecturer and a member of the Practicum Advisory Board at The School of Social Work at Seattle University.
I am a member of The Well On Beacon, a collaborative health project in Seattle’s Beacon Hill Neighborhood, which provides psychotherapy, acupuncture, massage, somatics and coaching, reiki and yoga.
