Bobby Gaon, MSW, CMHS
With over twenty years of professional experience, my extensive background highlights working with the immigrant and refugee populations, especially in areas of cultural differences and preserving history and heritage with children and youth of immigrant and refugee families.
I have worked in various community behavioral health organizations in the Seattle area working with youth and their families, as well as adults with severe mental illness from Western State Hospital, and have supervised master’s level and bachelor’s level students from the University of Southern California, University of Washington, Seattle University, Eastern Washington University, and Boise State University.
I am an adjunct instructor at Seattle University Department of Social Work.
I also work in partnership with Cape Flattery School District, the University of Washington, and Boise State University providing supervision to MSW students as well as consult with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) staff, their Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS), and their Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Complex Trauma consultant.
